For the fight you put up in such a dignified fashion against all the odds. For the love, support, reassurance and care you were afforded on ward 19. Both were inspirational and deserve much recognition. Rest well David, you will be missed! Your absence leaves a hole in Archie and William’s lives. We will ensure your memory lives on in them. I hope they retain many of your traits as a true gentleman...manners, honesty, generosity, considered decision making...it was a true honour David...RIP x
